The forum is continued to be abused by a lot of members. Spam is one thing very hard to control, obviously, but let's divert the attention to posted/attached images for now.

Particular threads involving posted images have been continually abused for the longest time (you guys know which thread/s I'm talking about, but I'm not saying that it's limited to those thread/s only). So to finally control the said abuse, we are now implementing rules regarding posted/attached images.

NOTE: Posted album pictures in the LinkShare section is also included in this rule. A SIMPLE REQUEST: Kindly SCALE them to 250px x 250px when posting so as to not make the pages look messy and cluttered. Either way, the link is still present in the image properties. Should members want the ORIGINAL SIZE image, they can simply get it from the link. Thanks!

RULES ON POSTED/ATTACHED IMAGES
1. You can post EITHER one:
(a) A thumbnail of the image (MAXIMUM OF 5 THUMBNAILS PER POST ONLY).
Note: A thumbnail is a small image with an actual link to a larger or the original size image. Do not confuse them with small-sized images. They usually have a bar or indicator of the original image size below them.

(b) An image with a MAXIMUM file dimension of 500px X 500px (MAXIMUM OF 2 IMAGES PER POST ONLY).
Note: This does not necessarily mean that your images should always be maxed to 500px. Anything below 500px is preferred (and appreciated) as to help make TDP's loading time faster.

2. DO NOT QUOTE POSTED IMAGES! Seriously, quoting such large image/s then posting a one-liner comment for it just wastes up too much space. We're all adults here, it only takes common sense to know when an image is considered to be large in dimensions. If you really feel the need to comment on an image, utilize the symbols "@" or "^" to direct your comment to the member who posted the image instead - there's no need to quote.

Posts found violating the said rules WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT ANY WARNING. (Example: 3 images in a post = POST WILL BE DELETED) The said rules will take effect and apply to ALL posts (with images) made starting 17 December 2008. You can help the mods by sending us a PM if you see posts that violate this rule.

Hoping for everyone's cooperation. This is for a better TDP.org in the years to come.

Further suggestions to improve this rule is highly appreciated. Any senseless comments posted on this thread that will not initiate any discussion about the rules (Example: "Thanks for the info!", "Ok yan!", etc.) will just be deleted, so don't waste your time and effort anymore, ok?

The rules stated here are still subject to updates, so please do check the thread often.

And may I also add the max number of pics per post. If it is in thumbnails it is ok to have 5 pics in one post - max.

If it is in 500 x 500, I'd say 2.

Imageshack can also generate thumbnails, if I'm not mistaken. Anywho, the host is not the problem here, so it's up to you guys kung saan niyo gusto i-upload. Just make sure that the posted images doesn't exceed the given limits.

Posting consecutively can be equated to spamming, so medyo controlled naman ng konte when it comes to that. Nakakainis lang yung iba na andami na ngang pics ang nilalagay sa isang post, pagkalaki-laki pa. And yes, nakakatawa ang laki ng mga litrato. Para ng mga billboard sa TDP

paano po yung mga images containing nudity or near to that., gore and disgusting images...

baka pwede po link na lang ipost nila bahala na user kung gusto nila tignan kaysa yung pgkaload ng page ay nakabungad na kaagad kasi po hindi naman sa lahat ng oras eh nasa private place tayo nagbobrowse minsan may mga bata sa tabi ko or sometimes mga students kapag nasa pc rental lang ako...

We want to keep TDP as wholesome as possible. As an online community, the age group of people visiting is a mix of kids and adults. Rated GP tayo dito, so those kinds of images are discouraged (if not prohibited)

i KNOW that option sir. that is seen upon opening the main page of imageshack.

that is not seen when using our TDP image uploader upon clicking the 'host it!' button.

or do i have to prep up a screenshot for that?
