i've been thinking.... i think we should change the subtitle of this thread. i think its better if its "Your Top3. Anything about Metal Music and Artists"

this is the only thread in TDP tha caters to metalheads weather its underground, mainstream etc. anyway

Glam rock ba? Heto faves ko dati sa Glam. MOtley Crue, Aerosmith, Poison, Firehouse, Tesla at syempre ang GNR! Karamihan ng mga kanta nila ay naririnig mo nalang ngayon sa beerhause.

Meron akong narinig ngayon na parang Glam ang bagsakan yung The Darkness. "A Thing Called Love" yung song nila and yung Mika. song niya ay yung "Love Today".

Sabi nga daw nila eh modern Glam yang The Darkness. Sayang naman at disbanded na ang bandang yan.

About naman sa mga nabanggit na band sa taas eh ayos yang mga yan. Di ko alam na Glam pala yung mga yan. hahaha.

Naalala ko dati na umalis si Kotzen sa Poison kasi inagaw niya yung asawa ni Michaels. loko yun si kotzen eh. :Gunz:

Napansin ko lang sa mga nasabing band sa taas(Glam) yung mga suot nla eh parang masyadong Fashionista ang dating.

Comment on Salamin

i've heard them in Saguijo and was quite amused. mebbe because all of the bands that played that night werent metal or hard rock and their music is the closest thing to what i listen to. i bought a copy of their album (ORIGINAL ha? lol). as i was listening to it, i realized that theyre trying hard to be metal. they sound very Nu Metal to me and i think that the growling is very inappropriate. growling, doing dirty or angry vocals should be done when youre music is about anger or at least has a feel of angst. Salamin's music doesnt have this feel and the vocalist is trying hard to be angry. mebbe they should sing normally without growling. growling during choruses is soooo late 90's and its not a "classic."

Di naman fag si Justin Hawkins. Ganun lang talaga ang style niya. Pang Glam. Anyway, Justin Hawkins has a new band. Hot Legs ang pangalan. Disbanded na kasi yung The Darkness since 2006.
