^^ okay yung first album nung the darkness... well the singles anyway. too bad they got hit by the so called sophomore slump. well anyway, the got their 15 minutes of fame since during the time they came out, they were sticking out like a sore thumb in the music scene. glam rock vibe in a time where pop, nu metal, rap metal were the rampant. their gimmik got old fast.

Hindi nga nagclick yun. On a short notice lang talaga ang the darkness. Pero yung bagong band ni Hawkins eh Pop-Rock ang genre pero mukhang glam style pa rin ung inaadapt nila.

Anyway, Let's talk about Varg Vikernes


Varg Vikernes is the one responsible for the band Burzum. He is also a former member of the black metal band Mayhem. Sumikat si Varg dahil sa pagiging arsonista niya (sinunog yung 3 simbahan sa Norway). Mas lalong nakilala si Varg nung pinatay niya si Euronymous ng Mayhem.

May mga rumors na Varg Vikernes ay pinalaya na kahit na di pa niya natatapos yung 21 years sentence sa kanya (15 years na niyang pinagbabayaran ang mga kasalanan niya sa kulungan).
