yung internet speed mo 2mb (I recommend PLDT because they will provide you with Static IP not Dynamic IP) for 10 pc's ok na yun, about the processor wag ka mag dual core syadong mahal.... and yung mga stations mo wag mo na langyan ng cd/dvd rom kahit server na lang, wag ka na rin kumuha ng 3.5 disk drive... anu pa ba??? Monitor mo mag flat screen ka tipid sa electricity and maintenance. Sa games Warcraft III frozen throne para may DOTA ka. Warning pala dude wag ka mag post ng Available games kasi mahigpit NBI ngaun sa Licenses ng mga games especially Wizards games and EA games.

gaming naman pwede na ang headset. mas mainam yun sa mga naglalaro para focus.

yeah gusto ko nga LCD para tipid din sa kuryente.

yung dvd-r or dvd rom drives is i guess dapat sa server na lang. mukang hindi kailangan ng customer yun. at para na rin control ko ang mga pc.

tnx reivax. magkano ba ang speed na 2mb? walang pldt dito sa min. hehehe. digitel at gts lang. sa office meron kaming 1mb nasa 3k plus ata. medyo 50/50 pa ang gumagamit ng flash drive dito sa lugar namin so i gez kakailanganin ko pa rin yun since hindi lang naman gamers ang target market ko.

walang PLDT? sang lugar ka ba? ang alam ko lang kasi is Globe broadband 4mb 6k but their service sucks same with Smart bro (even worse) I don't know about Digitel and GTS not familiar with them.... and bumabagal ang speed once na madami ang computer mo eventhough naka router ka na because of dynamic IP ata or something. yung price ng 2mb is around 4k for the net and 1.5k for the land line all in all it is 5,500 php.

sa games naman..magdownload ka na lang bro sa online game site na click ngayon...

na try na namin ang Digitel d2 samin sa Naga...daming disconnection...di ko lang alam dyan sa area nyo kasi kung pareho din service nila dyan mawawalan ka ng gamers...mas mabuti kung magsurvey ka muna sa mga kalapit na net cafe jan sa inyo kung anong isp provider nila...di naman masamang magtanong di ba?kung magsisimula ka ng mababa sa 20 pc...di mo kailangan ang 2Mb na connection... 1.5Mb pwede na kahit 1Mb pwede rin basta walang disconnection habang may naglalaro...

sir, i also have a shop d2 sa baguio it's been running for 5 years already,although ung pinsan ko ang pinagmanage ko, well to prevent po yung constant formatting you can use yung gstor na mga hard disk, it's like having a deep freeze program without using too much ram. actually the program is on the hard disk itself. The drawback is kung 80gig ung hard disk mo, 40 gig lang pwede gamitin.that's enough actually, Regular formatting, installing and updating will take hours, sayng yung income.
With regards to the internet, having a static ip address would be favorable as they have a faster velocity and faster address resolution, compared to dynamic, marami kayo nakashare sa isang line.<-- haven't confirmed this, although we've noticed na yung fluctuation nya.
We're using pldt, pero sabi mo po wala ata pldt dyan, hmmn.
Also, kung gusto mo mabawi agad yung gastos mo, mas maraming computer mas maganda as opposed to the idea na start small and dahan dahan mo palaguin. Of course kelangan mo po ng feasibility study, i know you would po, as it is a must if you're going to venture into a business na malaki ang capital. And dapat conservative approach gamitin mo.
Btw, if you'll start at around 10 computers, electric bill will really get into your nerves, yan po ang major concern namin. The good thing is sa amin yung pwesto, so ang laking cut sa rent/utility cost.
this may sound absurd pero it actually happens:
* Kapag kumikita ka na , and you're the only one in that area, trust me, politicians - to - be , or tong seekers or mga paepal kasi hindi sikat, will come in,hehe sorry for the word. hahanapan ka nung kung anu-ano, esp licenses, very important yan, not only business permit , but also yung mga software licenses, sumikat ang MMORPG because they're free. And - please remember the law that you should be far away from a school, hindi ganun ka strict pa yung implementation nyan. Pero once na may ngcomplain, that would be a ground for you to vacate your space. No minors during School hours!
- tournaments will really help in promoting your shop.
btw, if you;re going to use core duo's you can skip the upgrade part for about 1-2 years, hard to say really.
oh , PCI-x Heat up like hell, if you can avail of titanium Video cards please do so mas matibay mga yun, mas mahal pero in the long run, sobrang laki ng tipid mo.
- don't ever ever forget GOOD VENTILATION, it will not only make your shop condusve for playing, it will also lenghten the lifespan of your computer.
-lifespan of computers approx 7 years.
