importante na may cooling system or any cooling device ang isang laptop or computer to avoid problems because lahat ng device ay nagooverheat.. it happens on my computer dati (im using laptop now.. 12 hours syan open and suddenly nagrerestart na sya automatically then showing and a BSOD (blue screen of death) ive check all and found out na overheat ang cause..
kazuki_kitsune,

A very keen observation.
Laptops are designed to work in particular environments. Check your documentation for this.
I leave my Dell XPS M1330 on for 24/7 and I have no problems. My operating environment is 17 degrees Centigrade, less than 20% humidity non-condensing.

piggypiggy he just saying desktop ung gamit nya dati na nag crash ng 12 hours lang, check mo page 31 name: kazuki_kitsune...
Keen obsevation ba?
Yep. Its a keen observation. Computers arent supposed to crash. I only take down my servers for maintenance. I only reboot for updates and patches. Other that that, they're up 24/7. Even some of my user PCs run 24/7, and they're not breaking down.
Sometimes, its just the HVAC environment. ^_^
And maybe it slipped my reading. I saw his post, but didnt bother to read it that much. Takas mode sa office eh.
im using ASUS F80Q Series 27/7 ko din ginagamit since december pa. that's a very keen obsevation...
Thats cool. Nice to hear that you take good care of your equipment. ^_^
Pag laptops ba may recomender cooling systems ba? bukod sa mga notebook cooling pads? unit ko ngayon ACER ASPIRE 4520 (2.0 GHz AMD processor, 2GB RAM), may maganda ba kayo suggestions for cooling?
so far hindi pa naman ako nagkakaproblem sa overheating kase hindi naman lumalampas ng 8 hours na nakabukas ito, at the same time may cooling pad din ako na ginagamit (nabili ko lang sa CD-R king, standard na power fan lang i forgot the rpm ng fan), gusto ko lang ingatan para mas tumagal pa syempre yung laptop ko habang nagiipon ako ng para sa Sony VAIO na laptop...hehehe
