"Glaucomys" is the third, and final, genus notation for North American flying squirrels.
Observed for over a hundred years prior, in the mid-1700's the eastern (now southern) flying squirrel was initially given the scientific name Scuiriopterus scuriopterus. By the late 1800's it was referred to as Pteromys volucella.
Zoologist George Shaw, although not the first to observe the northern flying squirrel (late 1780's), was the first to name it Glaucomys sabrinus, in the year 1801.
It then took almost a hundred years before Glaucomys became universally accepted as the genus for both North American flying squirrels.
Hindi naman talaga sila lumilipad. nanggagaling muna sila sa mataas na lugar at tatalon papunta sa mas mababang lugar na parang lumilipad. Pangkaraniwan lang yan nakikita sa amerika.

The leopard seal is named for its black-spotted coat. The pattern is similar to that of the famous big cat, though the seal's coat is gray rather than golden in color. This seal is sometimes called the sea leopard, and the resemblance is more than skin deep. Like their feline namesakes, leopard seals are fierce predators. They are the most formidable hunters of all the seals and the only ones that feed on warm-blooded prey, such as other seals. Leopard seals use their powerful jaws and long teeth to kill smaller seals, fish, and squid.
These effective predators live in frigid Antarctic and sub-Antarctic waters, where they also eat penguins.
woooi laki nito!!!
iba talaga nagagawa ng cross breeding
The Liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger (i.e, Panthera leo × Panthera tigris[1]). A liger resembles a tiger with diffused stripes. They are the largest cats in the world, although the Siberian Tiger is the largest "pure" taxon. Ligers and tigers enjoy swimming, whereas lions do not. A similar hybrid, the offspring of a male tiger and a female lion is called a tigon.
Rare reports have been made of tigresses mating with lions in the wild.[2] Such mating may have occurred when, in uncommon circumstances, tigers were forced into ranges inhabited by the Asiatic Lion, Panthera leo persica. However, since the present-day ranges of wild lions and tigers no longer overlap,[3] it is generally held that such a combination of species would occur very rarely.
This creature is unknown to date. It has all its body enveloped with a muscular flesh. It is not only weird at its appearance, but also has an ugly look that no one will wish to rear it as a pet. It likes to lay its body upon a bulk in a cool and moist place.
yakee nman yang isang yan.. may ganyan palang creature.

The geoduck (pronounced /ˈguːiːdʌk/ "gooey duck"[1]), Panopea abrupta, is a species of large saltwater clam, a marine bivalve mollusk. The shell of this clam is large, about 15 to over 20 cm in length (about 7 to 9 inches), but the long siphons make the clam itself much longer; the "neck" or siphons alone can be one meter in length.
"Their large, meaty siphon are prized by some for its savory flavor and crunchy texture." It is a delicacy in Asia, each costing $200 - $300, so if you ever considered opening a private geoduck farm... be also ready to deal with their reputation to increase the "male potential"

The Poison Arrow Frog:
Beautiful but deadly....
Poison dart frog (also poison arrow frog, dart frog or poison frog) is the common name of the small frogs in the family Dendrobatidae which are native to Central and South America. The frogs are often called poison dart frogs due to indigenous peoples' use of their toxic excretions to poison the tips of arrows and blowdarts
